NB2 - My first part-time job
We've started talking about work in class. Listen to these people talking about their first job and answer the comprehension questions. I'd also like you to tell me about your first job if you are an adult or the way that you earn pocket money if you are a teenager. To break the ice, I'll tell you about mine in the first comment to this post.

My first job was a long time ago... I gave private English classes to two students in the long summer after Selectividad. These two girls had failed English at school and had to retake the exam in September. Every morning in July we had a class.One of them worked very hard and passed, the other one didn't. With the money I earned that month I paid the flight ticket to Menorca for my first holiday with friends.
My first holiday with friends was a long time ago ... oops, sorry!
My first job was also as a private teacher of Maths and Physics. I started to give classes last year. Before this, I had earned a little bit money playing basketball.
Currently I'm looking for job and I'm doing a lot of job interviews.
My first job was a six years old . In the Library of my University. I was working two years in the library. We were five people in that job. My schedule was from 17.00 pm to 20.30 pm. I liked this job, and I learned very much.

My first job was a long, long time ago. I began to work in a laboratory's office, as a lawyer's secretary. I remember that I got on well with my mates but the accounts' department boss (a woman) was very rude and unpleasant; she seemed a witch, but my boss was very nice and I had a good time there.

Sara, I don't think you were a child when you had your first job (child labour is illegal!) so you probably mean six years ago..
Isabel, 'accounts department' and 'laboratory office' don't need the possessive 's.
I was 16 years old when I began to work, and it was not a part-time job.
I had to take two buses and the tube (I covered 15 stations every day) four times at day.
I worked in a small company which made a newspaper focused to pharmaceutical sector.
I learnt a lot because I had to do many different things. As much I run errands (e.g. to go to the post office ) as went to visit customers with my bosses.
It was hard, but I remermer nicely my first job
what a hard job for such a young girl!
Careful with: 'four times a day' (not at) and you had to do many things: 'from running errands (nice expression) to visiting customers'.
