Hi Ana! Fist of all I would like to tell you that I'm sorry because it's the first comment I put in your blog :( And now, I would like to talk about the logical song wich I have heard before but I didn't knew the meaning. I think the author says " a vegetable" because the society said what you had to do and you couldn't choose, so you're like a vegetable because vegetables can't choose. And according to him I think being "acceptable, "respectable" and "presentable" it's something negative because it's what the society teachs you as if it was right but it isn't because they don't teach you the real meaning of these words, just the meaning they want to. It's very interesting to learn the meaning of the songs, because I've listened it before, but I would never imagine the real sense. About being a vegetable I think that it means you’re an object so you don't have the capacity of decision, you act exactly like a sheep , you think ,believe in the society’s way I‘m not agree that thinking as the society is always bad , although you have to 'create' you own ideas . When in the logical song appears the words acceptable, respectable and presentable it's in a bad way. It means that you had been manipulated by other people .Yes , of course you're respectable but on the other hand maybe you’re a bit hypocrit. In my opinion one of the most important in life are you decisions , if you don’t choose for yourself you’ll never be a free person! Goodbye!!!!!!! See you tomorrow!
