I agree with the idea about closeness and competition; because at the same time they can become jealousy due to same thing, they usually protect one to each other against the rest of the people.
From my point of view, in the case of Diana and Sandra, I think that the reconciliation will last because they are mature and they can see forward, they are at an age that provides them with the perspective to valuate the problem.
And regarding the same situation with two brothers I find that it could be very similar, but less emotive due to the fact that boys usually don't show their feelings very frequently. Gema Group D
