I think that the false sentences are numbers 1,2,3,7,9 and 11.

The reasons are:
1. This building always has been named "White House"
2. The French revolution started in 1789
3. The first modern Olympic Games were in 1896
7. Muhammad was born in 570 ad.
9. Nenderthal man was discover in Belgium
11. Columbus arrived in America in 1492.

I searched in Internet and I think that the false sentences are:1,2,3,6,7,11

The reasons for the sentences 1,2,3,7,11 are like than Betty but the sentence 6 I think that people drove on the left in Sweden until 1965.

I think there are seven false senteces: 2,3,5,6,7,9 and 11.

Reasons:

2.The French revolution started in 1789.
3.The first modern Olympic Games were in Athens in 1896.
5.Christmas was declared a national holiday by Ulysses S. Grant in 1870.
6. Until 1967, people drove on the left of the road in Sweden.
7. The Islamic prophet Muhammad was born in 570 AD.
9. Workers first discovered Neanderthal man in Engis (Belgium)
11. Christopher Columbus first arrived in America in 1492.
